Avery Rose Owens (@avery_rose_o) will become a permanent footprint on your heart the moment that you see her. Genuine, talented, and wise beyond her years, Avery is a star-to-be. Arguably, she’s already a star.
Nicole Kohr recognized Avery from several productions at Villagers Theater in Somerset, New Jersey. She didn’t know her personally, but she knew her reputation. She was the very sweet and very talented little girl with raving accolades from mutual colleagues.
Avery auditioned for “Fall Risk The Musical’s” staged reading back in 2020 and received the part of Olivia, a role that has since been cut from the show. Her audition, resume, and stage presence spoke for themselves. Nicole recruited her friend Kaitlin who was working with Avery at the time to break the news about her casting. Click here to watch Avery react. Beside her, you’ll see Crystal Huau who ends up playing the role of Avery’s mother in the “Fall Risk” workshop one year later. This workshop concluded with a behind-the-scenes documentary.
On the night of the documentary‘s launch, Avery was admitted to the hospital. She posted a picture the next morning on her Instagram. The caption read, “Maybe I was channeling my inner young gabby but I’m ok now! Link in Bio! Please take the time to watch and donate if you can! This project is very special to me! Thank you @fallriskmusical for giving me the opportunity to bring this character to life!”
